This carpet is gorgeous, a beautiful plum pink, with flower designs in cream, rich blue, and soft green.

This is an unusual design - the total design is unusual for a Persian rug - add to this the unusually large size and you have something really special.

This is a hand-knotted carpet (42 knots to the square inch, approx.), soft wool knotted onto cotton base, with a large central medallion and a flowing flower design.

Please note that this is not a new rug but it is in relatively good condition - a little worn at some parts of the edge, and the pile is a little thin in parts - but this just adds to its charm, and it will last for many years to come.

These rugs respond extremely well to gentle steam cleaning, which lifts the pile and brings out the full beauty of the colours.

Please also note that this is a VERY LARGE rug, so make sure that it will fit in your room.

It measures approximately 11' 9" wide x 15' 1" long.

We were unable to take a picture of the whole rug, as it is too large to spread out and photograph.

Because of the weight of this rug, it will be for collection only, and it will need at least two people to carry.
