Very large Persian-style carpet/rug with beautiful traditional design in greens and yellows - on sale as it is just too long for my new north London living room but would look stunning in a bigger space.

Size 3.75 x 2.76m (approximately 12 x 9 feet) - the equivalent size and style bought new would cost about £800.

This good quality carpet is machine-made in wool with close pile and woven hessian backing. About 40 years old (bought new by my parents), there is no label now but I would guess it was made in England (or possibly Belgium). Ignore the bright patches on the photo, which are a trick of the light - the carpet really is in extremely good condition with no stains or damage.
